Online Class, Is That Needed?

In this era, education is one of the important things to human life and it always develops. New ways of learning are now available, and improved access is one of the most important benefits available, such as using the computer and the internet to make an online class, it’s called conventional learning. Some developed countries already used this program, but we should open our perception to consider the advantages and disadvantages of using online class.

One major advantage of using online class are creat flexible learning activity. It means that the student shouldn’t attend in the classroom and start learning. Learning activity occurs in the virtual media and the student can access all the material all the time depending on their connection to the internet. Furthermore, online class cheaper than learning by face to face between the students and the teacher in the classroom (direct method), they shouldn’t pay for transportation to go to the school or shouldn’t pay for the textbook, otherwise they can search a lot of literature (e-book) and many resources  (essay, journal) on the internet. What is more, online class decrease the cases of bullying or discrimination racist because they have no direct or limit interaction with their friends . Also, the time that they have outside in the class and the school area probably useful to another activity such as doing their hobbies.

On the other hand, we should understand that online class may build unsocial characteristics for the students because they have not enough to close interaction with another people. In addition, during access to the online class it might get high risk for a student to access negative content based on the internet, it will be a serious problem for their mental health. It is possible to disturb their learning process.   

On the whole, online learning is new ways to improve the process of learning in the education to human life during the development in the technology era and the important things the students must be highly motivated and highly disciplined if they are to learn effectively in their own private environment.

Still Mystery. Isn't Right?

It happened when I was in Junior High School. At 3pm, after finished the extra class, I went to go home directly. Then, I came to the parking area and took my bicycle  but I was so confused when I couldn’t found it. I told my friend about it and she accompanied me looking for my bicycle arround the school. I tried to ask the security and he helped me looking for in another areas. Unfortunatelly, until night I couldn’t found my bicycle. I was so sad, my friend lent her handphone to me and I called my sister. At the time she was in the school and said that she would pick up me to come back home. When I was home my mother asked me about the bicycle. I told her everything and my mother said “ Never mind, if we have some money, we will buy a new bicycle for you.” However, at the time the bicycle very important or maybe can be the fancy thing for me because wherever I will going to some place such as the school,my friend’s home always use it. After two weeks, my mother bought a new bicycle for me. I was so happy, in the other hand I can’t deny that I’m still curious about “the mystery” of losing my bicycle until right now.

Pengamen Landungsari

Sore ini aku duduk di bangku nomer 2 bis terminal Landungsari. Cerita ini bermula ketika seorang pengamen terminal masuk ke bis ku,layaknya pengamen biasa pakaian serta alat kerja yg digunakan untuk mengais rezeqi dari melodi suaranya pun hanya sebatas kentrung(gitar kecil) sebagai sumber nada pengiring gelak merdu suara nya. Tak terlupa kantong plastik sisa bungkus snack yg telah ia bersihkan terlipat rapi dalam saku celana guna menadah pundi pundi koin kehidupan. Benar benar tidak ada yg istimewa dalam benak ku. “Paling lagi campursari opo lek gak koplo an,marai ngantuk.” Kiranya begitulah yg terbersit dalam pikiran jahiliyah ku. Mulailah sang pengamen itu melantunkan bait bait lagu dalam bungkusan nada melodi yg lumayan memanjakan gendang tidak buruk lah. Aku yg terlalu khidmah pada gawai yg ku pegang erat tiba tiba terdiam ketika lirik yg dilafadkan oleh pengamen itu mengusik fokusku. Sebuah kidung yang sangat unik. Memaparkan kehidupan di negara ku ini,di babat habis lah dalam untaian bait bait yang sialnya sangat mendetail dan mengupas habis semua aspek kehidupan di negeri ini. Hingga aku tergelak ketika dengan indahnya terkeluar dari mulut sang bapak bait “monyet Bekasi yang sudah bolak-balik haji,tapi tetap korupsi” sungguh sebuah ironi yang sangat mustahil untuk kita nafikan. Hingga berakhirnya kidung sang bapak tak banyak memang orang yg memberikan atensi pada nya,tapi suara cempreng itu tetap berkumandang dengan lantangnya hingga semua kritikan yg dikemas dalam nada tersebut berakhir. Kejadian ini benar benar mengetuk hatiku dan membuat kinerja otakku meningkat , bagaimana dengan ku? Bahkan untuk menuliskan sebuah pengalaman pribadi saja aku merasa masih sangat kurang cakrawala,lalu bagaimanakah ketika aku yang faktanya hidup dengan status “mahasiswa” harus memberikan pemaparan tentang masa depan bangsa ini,tidak salah apabila aku menganggap pengamen itu sebagai salah satu guru dalam hidupku.
